5 Day Hand Building and Sculpture

 

July 8th - 12th, 2024

9:00am - 6:00pm (1 hour lunch break) Instruction will be given from 9:30am - 4:30pm

 

$500 per person (includes GST and PST).  Full payment due before June 8th.

Whether you are a beginner or more advanced in the use of clay, David can help you develop basic Hand Building techniques to more advanced sculptural techniques.  From the basic coil pots to building unique sculptures using armatures.  Over the 5 days you can explore a selection of processes, traditional or contemporary.  The studio has all the equipment and tools necessary to create great work.  Just bring yourselves and your ideas.

 WHAT TO BRING

​

Bring with you your ideas, sketches, images or just an open mind and a desire to learn.  Feel free to discuss any ideas that you may have before the week commences to ensure the  week starts moving  in the right direction.

Please bring with you a suitable apron or coveralls, a towel and any tools that you may already have.  Clay, equipment and additional tools needed for the workshop will be provided. Finished work will be charged for after firing, by weight, size and type of clay used.
